This is the super secret project I have been working with my dearest Qolette (aka :iconangelswrath: )
We both though up the concept, but Im the mind behind the art, and she's the mind behind the writings. :glomp:
This is a teaser/ story summary she has writtin for our manga/comicbook/doujinshi, whatever u like to call it. The first chapter/scroll is called "Dawn".

The Legend. . .

550 years ago one of the most powerful mikos in history shielded the Shikon no Tama from all who would seek to use it for their own purposes. Upon her death she used the last of her strength to hide the jewel in the only place it would be safe from the turbulent times of the fuedal era. Within herself. Intending the power to go untouched for generations Kikyou passed into the next life a martyr and a hero.

The Myth. . .

She never could have foreseen her reincarnation's untimely arrival 50 years later. Confused, frightened, and a novice priestess there was little wonder to why the jewel she protected ended up scattered all over feudal Japan. Determined to protect the power she'd loss, Kagome, grew as a miko with the help of Kikyou's past love. Inuyasha. Together they trekked through Musashi, piecing together as many shards as possible, and fostering a love that would become legendary. Preparing themselves daily to face the evil that even Kikyou could not defeat. Naraku. Three years after her initial arrival Kagome, and all those Naraku had manipulated, launched a massive counterattack designed to eliminate the hanyou for good. Confident that even Naraku could not defend an attack on all fronts, but no one was prepared for what happened next.

The Bitter Reality. . .

The tragic death of all who had opposed Naraku was still whispered about generations later. No one was sure how it had happened, but not a single soul but he had lived. The sole survivor and the unrivaled owner of the powerful Shikon jewel. Their deaths rippled across time, changing what was, and what should have been. The world Kagome had known was lost as the balance shifted from miko to youkai. A jumbled merging of both eras. Modern advancements combined with the constant fear of youkai retaliation. A world where youkai no longer felt the need to conceal themselves from the humans around them. A place where mikos and monks were nothing but a fuedal fairytale.

The Hope. . .

In this land of suffering two remarkable women will emerge. Ancient warriors thought dead long before the reign of youkai. After hearing the centuries' long cry of the people they are pledged to protect they have decided to restore the balance. But to do this they must return to the moment it was altered. 500 years in the past, to stop the horrific deaths that will change the entire world. It's a desperate race against time to discover what went so horribly wrong before Inuyasha and his friends make their Last Stand!

EDIT, I FIXED MY DRESS! NO MORE SUPER LOW J-LO BOOBIES SPILLING OUT DRESS, I LIKE THIS ONE BETER :D

Your art's still as pretty as ever. T.T; And the story sounds awesome so far. ^_^ I love the faded/grainy look on Kagome and Inuyasha's faces; it looks so soft. ^_^
